Halloween!

They're creepy and they're cooky, mysterious and spooky, they're all together ooky, the Addams Family. Dada da da...(snap, snap)

Madi girl got the idea to be Wednesday Addams from the movie the Addams Family, for Halloween! She loved it! We even got the headless doll in there!











I love to carve pumpkins! My Mom and my Aunt Pam were here and we had a blast, carving pumpkins, making cookies and popcorn, and watching movies!! Chad's pumpkin is the scull and cross bones, it looks so awesome! Mine is the cat and you can hardly see it because of the candle. Meghan and Gianni did the headless horseman, and Mom and Madi did the smiley face. Fun Fun!




Right before we were leaving to take madi trick or treating Meg and I decided to dress up. So we put face paint on and ratted our hair, and cut up our t-shirts. when we came out Madi was like "Whoa, who are you guys supposed to be?" I said that we were electrocuted people, she laughed and thought that it was so funny that her big sisters were dressing up with her.
Then we went to the little school carnival where they had lots of games, candy, a cupcake walk, and a haunted hallway. I think Meg and I had more fun than Madi! My dad came too, and he paid for all of our tickets, Thanks Dad! Madi didn't want to go into the haunted hallway so Meghan and I went. We felt really dumb cause we were like the oldest people in line, but even though it was just a middle school haunted hallway it was actually pretty scary! Just because people jump out at you. We were laughing and screaming and holding on to each others arms the whole way! Ha Ha!

Fishing Trip!

We went fishing up the mountain the other day, it was really fun! We got up early and drove up. When we got there we were almost the only ones there, and it was a beautiful day. This is a pic of us as we were leaving. The man in the backround was a guy who decided to fish right next to us, even though there were plenty of empty spots all around the lake! He was really nice though, and chatty!

Chad will be done with his bachelor's degree in May and he got some great experience in business at R&R, but he really wanted to try some different types of business management. A few months ago a position for an assistant manager came available at Wal-Mart and he applied. We didn't hear anything back right away, but a few weeks later he had an interview, and he got the job! We are so excited because he just finished his eight week training program and now he gets be here all the time. I am especially glad, because I hated to be home alone all week. My sweet sister Meg, came and stayed at my house almost every night so I wouldn't get to freaked out. (Thanks Meg!) We will miss the pizza business, but we are glad for a change! Congrats Chad on all your hard work! Thanks for all you do for me. Love ya Babe!!

Too Much Roughhousing!!

The first day that Elise and Nat came to visit, we were all sitting around in the living room and someone thought it would be fun to have a leg wrestling contest! It was hilarious, Until....

And then for the grand finale everyone started clapping their hands and chanting "Rob and Chad, Rob and Chad" So Rob and Chad got into position, and everyone helped count "1..2..3!!" While they kicked their legs into the air! It was a gripping match until...two big feet went crashing into the T.V.!!! Everyone gasped and it got really quiet. Unfortunately it was over so fast I didn't get a pic of them, but I got some of the TV.




Luckily the TV sustained only minor damages, and it still works great! And once we knew that It was really funny again!!

We all went to the new HP movie, and the boys dressed up. It was so funny! Chad's brother in law Rob hung out with Weston and Dallin, and the girls while all of the rest of us were at work. They got a great spot in line, and we got great seats! Thanks guys!

We went camping while the Jonesies and Dallin were here. It was so nice to get out of the heat and it was really pretty too. My Dad and Chad took Dallin and Weston squirrel hunting while we were there. They had a blast! They would have hunted all day if we let them! Natalie, Elise, Madi, and I all had a great time relaxing and playing games! Madi had fun going with the boys hunting too!

Natalie and Elise had already been camping at girls camp the week before, and they were probably a little tired of roughing it, but we are so glad they still wanted to come with us!

The boys actually cooked the sqirrel over the fire and they ate it. They said it was pretty good. Nat even tried some. I passed on it though! Ha Ha!

Madi turned seven years old last week! She wanted to have a princess party with some of her friends. So we went bowling! It was way fun, then we came home and had cake and opened presents!

She did pretty good, especially with the bumpers up!

Happy Birthday Chad!

Chad's birthday was Monday. He just got a new calling at church and now he works with the scouts. And it just so happened that the scouts had a hike and camp out on his b-day! so we didn't even get to celebrate until the day after. He was a good sport and actually had a good time hiking and fishing! We just did cake and ice cream, and opened presents. It was fun!

Chad really wanted an ipod touch for his b-day! I think he knew that he was getting one, which was a bummer because i like to try and surprise him, but he is good at figuring it out! Happy birthday Chad!!!

Wisdom Teeth!!

Yea! it is finally over! I got my wisdom teeth out last week. I was so nervous, but they really needed to come out, because they were tying to grow in, and they really hurt. So Chad helped me, and we got an appointment with a Dr in Tucson. I thought it would take a month or so to get scheduled, but I only had to wait a few days. I was trying to act really brave when they were getting me ready, but I think I might have lost it a little after they started giving me the anesthesia, because when it was all over they told Chad that I did really well but that I was really really nervous, and I don't remember even acting that nervous! It definatly helped me to have more sympathy for patients at work. I don't like how groggy and out of it the anesthesia made me feel. But I am glad it is over and that the swelling finally went down! I also wanted to tell my hubby thanks for taking such good care of me! I luv ya babe!

A Fun Weekend!

We got to go to St. David a few weeks ago. It was fun we got to see Vanessa, (cuz she was down from Idaho) and we went to Natalie and Westons play. This is a pic of them in character. It was a fun weekend!

My mother has always been more to me than just my mom, she is my teacher, my shoulder to cry on, and she is my friend. She often helps me put things into perspective, and helps me to laugh at myself when I feel like crying. She is always there to give me encouragement and courage. I will be forever grateful for her sweet kindness and love. I love you Momma!

I am also so grateful for Chad's sweet mother. I never got a chance to meet her in this life but I feel close to her somehow. I am grateful for the wonderful man that she raised, and for her love.

A Rain drop!

Madi is in the first grade. At school they have been learning about nature. So all the first grade classes put on a little singing program about the things that they had learned. Madi was a rain drop, and got to do a rain drop dance. She helped me make her little costume, and did a very good job dancing and singing. She loves school, her teacher and her friends. (She even had the stomach flu this day but went to school anyway because she didn't want to miss out! you can tell she looks kinda pale in the pictures! It is funny to me how kids can feel so crappy but still want to run and play!)

Helloooooo La La La!!

Hi everyone! We are still alive, I have been horrible about blogging these last few months. So I just posted a bunch of pictures to give a quick update. I did it backwards though so if you want to go in order just scroll down to the bottom of the post! Tons of stuff has happened! I graduated from nursing school!!!! Hurray!! My Aunt Pam and family moved. Camille got married! We got to hang out with all of the family! The Cardinals lost the superbowl, and there was a lot of little things in between! I need to keep up on this. I am hoping to be better now that school is done but we'll see. N-E-way, Love ya!


Aunt Pam and her family moved to Idaho! So Meghan had to have me color her hair. It didn't turn out to bad! But we miss you Burbie family!!


Chad's sister Camille got married in January! She and Rob are such a cute couple. It was so fun to see all of the family too!

This was our awesome Super Bowl party! Everyone brought their own meat and a side dish, and we got to use our new grill! The Cards lost, but it was a really exciting game! And we had a ton of yummy food!

Chad went to the NFC Championship game with his brother-in-law Zach! The Cardinals won! Yeah!




I graduated from Nursing School Dec. 11th 2008! Yea!! These are some of my buds from school! Congrats guys!
