Cali and Disney trip 2010

We really needed to get away from reality a few months ago, and so we went for a quick trip to California. We visited Grandma & Grandpa Jones, went to Disneyland, and to the beach! It was so much fun. Thank you so much Grandma & Grandpa Jones. You made us feel so welcome. And it was so fun to visit and play games. We love ya!

Ok so Chad FINALLY got me to ride the California Screamer. I know it is not a scary rollercoaster to most people, but anyone who knows me knows this is a huge deal! Afterward I was so proud of myself, but I cried and screamed during the whole ride, and everytime we would go down a drop, my scream would start out really high pitched, then as we dropped the G force made me scream in a really low voice. Chad was laughing so hard I think HE was crying, and when it was over the little girls behind us (pictured above) were totally staring at me weird, and then Chad said "I think they think something is wrong with you." Yeah....I don't think I will ever ride this again. Look at my face, it is torture!....Well I might try it again....maybe?


We also went to the beach! It was so fun, and pretty. The water was to cold to swim in though.

I made a really quick trip to Idaho with my Mom and my sister Madi for a family reunion. It was so fun, and 3 days just is not enough! I didn't even get to visit my sweet sister in laws who were just a few hours away. (Miss you guys!)Chad didn't even get to come because he had to work. I missed ya babe, thanks for all your hard work!
The family reunion was great! We got to see lots of my cousins and aunts and uncles! My Uncle Val made an awesome slide show set to music that went back five generations! It so neat to hear about ancestors who came before and the legacy they left. I am grateful for forever families. Thanks Uncle Matt and Aunt Tana for letting us stay with you. I wished we lived closer! Actually I wish I had my own personal transporter, like on Star Trek, (you know...."Beam me up Scottie") Cause even though we flew, traveling is still stressful and we were all tired by the time we got home!

Me at Wood River. Its so pretty there! Wood River is just like a half mile from Uncle Matt's. I spent so many summers there as a little girl when my grandparents lived there, it sorta feels like going home.

I love this picture of Madi, Sadie and Grace! This is a field by the cemetery where my grandparents are buried. We stopped to put flowers on their graves, but the girlies got bored and went to explore!


8 is Great! Madi Girl got baptized this summer! She is growing up so fast, and I am so proud of her and the good girl she is!

New Couches!! Yeah! Since we have been married, almost all of our furniture has been given to us. We are always so greatful and we have nice stuff, but this is the first big thing we have bought for our house. I am horrible at picking stuff out. I know what I like but I can never decide if it will look good once we get it home, and it is hard to spend money when you arn't sure. Luckily my mom was down last weekend, (I can always trust her judgement when it comes to clothes and decorating!) and she was so nice and came to look with me. I really liked these, and I LOVE them now that we got them home! p.s. thanks mom and chad for putting up with my indecision that day! HaHa! Love ya!

Chad and I went up the mountain the other day and had a picnic and took some pictures of the valley, it was super cold and windy. I wanted to get a picture of the Temple with my new camera lense, but it was to dusty.


I thought the mountain looked so cool in this picture. I love having a beautiful mountain so close! This is just from the front yard.


Snow in the Desert.


I made a super quick trip to Idaho at the begining of January. My little sister Meghan is going to BYU Idaho and I went with her to help her get moved in! I am so proud of her, and miss her tons! I was sad not to see all my Idaho family! Besides having to leave Meg, that was the worst part. I needed two weeks to be able to see everyone! We only had about five days, three of which we were driving, and the rest was crazy moving, shopping and unpacking. But I was so glad to go, it was nice to spend time with Meg too! This is her in her new room!


I cried so much when we left Meghan at school. I was so worried about her, but also excited for her, and we have never really been apart. She is one of my best frieds and it has been weird with her gone, but she is doing so great!


This is my newest little cousin Riggins. He is such a cutie! When we took Meg to school we stayed at my Uncle Matt and Aunt Tana's house. It was so great to see them and the kids. Aunt Tana is a great cook, and even though we were only there for like a day and a half, I think I gained a few pounds. (Pomegranite salsa.....So Good!!) Uncle Matt even got the snow machines out for us! I am not so adventurous, I really just rode up and down the road, at a nice slow pace, but uncle Matt is amazing on those things! It was way fun!

Halloween!

They're creepy and they're cooky, mysterious and spooky, they're all together ooky, the Addams Family. Dada da da...(snap, snap)

Madi girl got the idea to be Wednesday Addams from the movie the Addams Family, for Halloween! She loved it! We even got the headless doll in there!











I love to carve pumpkins! My Mom and my Aunt Pam were here and we had a blast, carving pumpkins, making cookies and popcorn, and watching movies!! Chad's pumpkin is the scull and cross bones, it looks so awesome! Mine is the cat and you can hardly see it because of the candle. Meghan and Gianni did the headless horseman, and Mom and Madi did the smiley face. Fun Fun!




Right before we were leaving to take madi trick or treating Meg and I decided to dress up. So we put face paint on and ratted our hair, and cut up our t-shirts. when we came out Madi was like "Whoa, who are you guys supposed to be?" I said that we were electrocuted people, she laughed and thought that it was so funny that her big sisters were dressing up with her.
Then we went to the little school carnival where they had lots of games, candy, a cupcake walk, and a haunted hallway. I think Meg and I had more fun than Madi! My dad came too, and he paid for all of our tickets, Thanks Dad! Madi didn't want to go into the haunted hallway so Meghan and I went. We felt really dumb cause we were like the oldest people in line, but even though it was just a middle school haunted hallway it was actually pretty scary! Just because people jump out at you. We were laughing and screaming and holding on to each others arms the whole way! Ha Ha!

Summer Time

Fishing Trip!

We went fishing up the mountain the other day, it was really fun! We got up early and drove up. When we got there we were almost the only ones there, and it was a beautiful day. This is a pic of us as we were leaving. The man in the backround was a guy who decided to fish right next to us, even though there were plenty of empty spots all around the lake! He was really nice though, and chatty!

Wally World!!

Welcome to Wal-Mart! How can I help you!?



Chad will be done with his bachelor's degree in May and he got some great experience in business at R&R, but he really wanted to try some different types of business management. A few months ago a position for an assistant manager came available at Wal-Mart and he applied. We didn't hear anything back right away, but a few weeks later he had an interview, and he got the job! We are so excited because he just finished his eight week training program and now he gets be here all the time. I am especially glad, because I hated to be home alone all week. My sweet sister Meg, came and stayed at my house almost every night so I wouldn't get to freaked out. (Thanks Meg!) We will miss the pizza business, but we are glad for a change! Congrats Chad on all your hard work! Thanks for all you do for me. Love ya Babe!!

Too Much Roughhousing!!

The first day that Elise and Nat came to visit, we were all sitting around in the living room and someone thought it would be fun to have a leg wrestling contest! It was hilarious, Until....

And then for the grand finale everyone started clapping their hands and chanting "Rob and Chad, Rob and Chad" So Rob and Chad got into position, and everyone helped count "1..2..3!!" While they kicked their legs into the air! It was a gripping match until...two big feet went crashing into the T.V.!!! Everyone gasped and it got really quiet. Unfortunately it was over so fast I didn't get a pic of them, but I got some of the TV.




Luckily the TV sustained only minor damages, and it still works great! And once we knew that It was really funny again!!
